February 12-18, 2012 - Marjory & the Backyard Food Production Team head out to Winter Count, held just a little outside Phoenix, AZ, to learn more primitive skills! Backtracks, the same folks that put on Rabbit Stick back in September, are also organizing this amazing gathering of ancient wisdom. Also, while we're on the road, we'll be speaking with the folks of GardenPool.org, who have the incredible aquaphonics system featured in National Geographic's Doomsday Preppers, as well as meeting up with Lisa Bedford from TheSurvivalMom.com. December 7, 2011 - Marjory Wildcraft Visits Longwood Gardens to research how-to grow chocolate trees in northern climates. What a great skill to have...

 

October 2011 - January 2012  Marjory will be temporarily based in the Northwest US to travel and visit - the heart of the American Redoubt movement spearheaded by Jim Rawles. There are lots of survivalists, permaculture sites, communities, and farms to see in Montana, Idaho, Washington, Wyoming, and Utah.  Just how cold does it get in Montana?  Marjory will be learning about strategies for food production and staying warm in cold northern climates.

May 15, 2011 Sunday - We are having two amazing events if you want to take your skills in self-reliance to a new level.  From 9am-4pm there is a workshop on "Alternatives To Dentists" (which includes how to handle infections without using anti-biotics), and in the afternoon we will learn all about how to eat insects.  Go to the workshops pages fore more details.
